The Clarks Hotels & Resorts enters Goa with Clarks Inn Suites

The Clarks Hotels & Resorts opens its property Clarks Inn Suites in Goa. The brand strengthens its footprints down west and aims for the growing Goa business and leisure travel market. The brand is aiming optimum occupancy level by the end of the calendar year 2022.  India’s rising middle class and increasing disposable income have supported the growth of domestic and outbound tourism. As per one report by 2028, Indian tourism and hospitality are expected to earn US$ 50.9 billion as visitor exports compared with US$ 28.9 billion in 2018. FHRAI proposes extending GST refund to all purchases by foreign tourists in country

Thanking the govt to offer foreign tourists GST refund for local shopping, FHRAI has proposed to extend this to all shopping. Goa tourism department has reduced the number of clearances or permissions that trades are required to attach at the time of registration. For a new hotel, an entity can get registration done by submitting three documents such as ownership document, CST registration, if applicable, and an identity proof; while no document needs to be submitted for renewal.
