Speaking at the TravTalk ThinkTank at the Le Meridien New Delhi, Naveen Kundu, Founder, Tourism Futures.AI, highlighted the urgent need for both promoter-led and professionally managed companies to embrace the art of ‘letting go’. He said leaders must allow their teams to learn, experiment and grow, without holding control too tightly. “Beyond running a business and making money, we have an obligation to create capable professionals for the industry,” he noted. He emphasised that empowering people, delegating responsibility and enabling independent decision-making are essential for the next phase of growth.

Le Méridien New Delhi won the ‘Best City Business Hotel’ award at the India Travel Awards 2025. Receiving the award, Meena Bhatia, Vice President and General Manager, said, “The true edge of hospitality lies in the human touch. While we must embrace technology and prepare for the future, my advice to future leaders is never lose the human edge that defines hospitality.”
