Indians spent close to approximately 10 billion on travel overseas in the first nine months of 2022–23, more than in any prior fiscal year, according to the Nangia Andersen LLP July Edition Report, titled Unlock the Potential: A look into Outbound Tourism.

The travel market in India is projected to reach US$ 125 billion by FY27 from an estimated US$ 75 billion in FY20. International tourist arrivals are expected to reach 30.5 million by 2028, according to a report by Nangia Andersen LLP.
