TravTalk’s second Digital Conclave tomorrow; to focus on domestic and outbound travel

After the resounding success of its maiden Digital Conclave in early April, TravTalk is all geared up to host the conclave’s second edition tomorrow, April 21, from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Divided into three one-hour sessions, the virtual summit will have eminent speakers from state tourism boards, Indian tour operators’ associations, airlines, hotels, as well as visa and technology service providers among others, who will deliberate on the next steps in domestic tourism and India as a global source market. DDP wins 2 awards at 34th IATO Convention in Visakhapatnam

In yet another display of excellence in journalism, Team DDP collected two awards for outstanding reportage presented by the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) at its recently-concluded 34th annual convention held in Visakhapatnam. The team was awarded for Tourism Breaking News as best online media as well as for IATO Manual. TravTalk magazine brought out two special daily issues during the three-day convention, highlighting key issues that the event was focusing on. The team thanks IATO for recognising its efforts and hopes that it continues to break boundaries in covering pertinent issues that plague the travel industry.

DDP-TravTalk recognised for exemplary work @TAAI

Durga Das Publications (DDP) / TravTalk was recognised for its contribution and support extended to the 63rd Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) Convention held in Abu Dhabi from October 14-16. The award recognised the media support that the publication extended to the convention. A live streaming of panel discussions was disseminated amongst the delegates attending the conference. Many delegates also joined in the live streaming which allowed them to be a part of the convention despite their physical absence. The Convention discussed various industry issues on the theme- Tomorrow Begins Now; Rise Above the Routine. Stalwarts from the aviation, hospitality and tourism industry shared their opinions about the way forward for the industry in order to perform and not just survive.
