The opening day of InfoComm India 2022 saw a turnout of exhibitors and visitors that affirmed the Show’s position as the region’s premier Professional AudioVisual (Pro-AV) and Transformative Technology tradeshow.
Energetic Show Floor Activity
Over 160 exhibiting companies from more than 15 countries packed the halls and presented their most innovative products and solutions that are pushing the envelope in the post-pandemic era. Buyers from all across India pounded the corridors, equally eager for solutions that will provide them with an edge in the new business landscape.
For the last two years, amid lockdowns and restrictions, technology innovators went into overdrive dreaming up ways to enable seamless business continuity and fortify businesses against future disruptions. Today, emerging from the pandemic, the world has been conditioned to favour tele-everything. The resonance between businesses’ future-sighted demands and ready cutting-edge solutions is reflected on the InfoComm India 2022 Day 1 show floor by the lively conversations and volume of transactions. This was enhanced by the Hosted Buyers Program. Some 160 senior decision-makers and buyers from the from the government, education, healthcare, defense, IT, architecture and consultancy sectors are specially invited to meet and source for products and solutions from international solution providers at the Show. The Hosted Buyers were taken on guided tours to explore the exciting and innovative solution offerings on the Show floor
Visitors explored the latest products and solutions designed for various industries, such as AR/VR solutions for live events, museums, education and simulation training; traffic monitoring and management solutions for smart cities; security, flood and surveillance monitoring systems for network operations centers; and more. With the increased appreciation of the benefits of operating from the comfort of home, popular products include collaborative conferencing systems for meetings and forums, as well as lecture-capturing equipment for distance learning.
Learning and Preparing for the Future
At the signature InfoComm India 2022 Summit, various learning sessions held the rapt attention of delegates. Opening day saw the exclusive by-invite-only AV Leaders Connect discuss the impact on businesses of investing US$23 billion into India’s digital infrastructure to support the growing demand for digital services and rising online traffic. The AVIXA Seminars – a series of power-packed knowledge-sharing sessions led by AVIXA’s leading experts on Pro-AV technical skills and practical know-hows – also fired up the day. Running all day long were the many Industry Forums, each enlightening delegates with new insights on a specific industry, including the government and urban authorities, retail, education, security and enterprise.
Over the next two days, delegates can look forward to further learning opportunities through
more sessions under the Industry Forums and AV Managers Day banners on Day 2, and under the AVIXA Seminars banner on Day 3. AV Managers Day sessions are designed for mid-level management, and uses project case studies to delve into AV project challenges and how to overcome them.
