Receiving the ‘Most Innovative Tourism Board’ award on behalf of the NTO at the India Travel Awards, Pooja Raut, Digital Lead, Brand Manager, Singapore Tourism Board, said, “It’s a significant boost for us to continue doing great work. Accepting the ‘Best Resort- Bengaluru’ award at the India Travel Awards, Manivarma A, Group General Manager, The Odyssey Retreat Resort, Bengaluru said, “The award enhances our popularity within the hospitality industry. For independent properties like ours, it is a valuable affirmation of our business practices. Our resort’s operating procedures align with those of star-rated hotels, and we commit to prioritise the well-being of both our guests and employees.”

Fazlani Nature’s Nest, The Wellness Retreat won the Best Health and Wellness Ayurveda Retreat award at the India Travel Awards. Upon receiving the award, Jagdeep Nambiar, GM, Operations, Fazlani Nature’s Nest, The Wellness Retreat, said, “ITA is a reward that gives us the direction and motivation we need. Our retreat has been operating for approximately 6 years, and this award is a testament to our team’s hard work and our chairman’s vision and passion.”  

Accepting the ‘Best International Group Tour Operator’ on behalf of Kesari Tours, Zelam Chaubal, Executive Director at Kesari MICE, said, “This recognition is inspiring. After receiving the ‘Best MICE Tour Operator-West India’ award at India Travel Awards, Sunil Singh, Director, Axplore Travelplus, said, “Such awards provide platform for individuals to reflect on their ability. They encourage us to think creatively and develop innovative ideas that delight our customers.”

Lisha Krishnan, Travel Trade, Tourism Office, Spain won the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Cultural Tourism’ award at the India Travel Awards. Upon receiving the award, she said, “The NTO’s collaborations aim to create a bridge between Spain and India ultimately allowing the Indian travellers to truly explore and experience the Spanish culture.”

Ananta Udaipur won the ‘Best Destination Wedding Resort’ award at the India Travel Awards. “We have onboarded eight properties, each operating under a different model and are committed to maintaining standards across diverse locations,” said Ashutosh Goyal, Director, Ananta Hotels & Resorts, upon receiving the award.

While receiving the Fastest Growing Travel Company award on the behalf of Fly24hrs, Vaseem Parvez, Vice President, Fly24hrs Holiday, said, “Kudos to the DDP Group for organising this award ceremony, providing a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of individuals.”

Turtle Down Under won the ‘Best ‘Inbound Tour Operator-Australia’ Award at the India Travel Awards. Its National Sales Manager, Kunal Ramchandani, said, “It feels great when our travel partners support us. We will continue to strive for excellence and provide our travel agents with the best possible services.”

Jatinder Paul Singh, Co-Founder & Global CEO, Viacation Tourism, won the ‘Emerging Leader Travel Startup’ Award at the India Travel Awards. Beeming with pride, he said, “The tourism industry is currently rebuilding in the post-COVID era, and has adapted to the new realities, embracing technology aligning with consumer needs, and creating innovative segments.”
