At the 78th Cannes Film Festival, the feature film Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and shot in Madhya Pradesh, received widespread acclaim. The film premiered in the renowned “Un Certain Regard” section at Cannes and was the only Indian film to be featured in this prestigious category. The screening was met with a standing ovation lasting nine minutes, with international filmmakers, directors, artists, and audiences lauding the film.
