SMA Sheeraz, Managing Director, Sheeraz Tours won the Face of the Future title. Through his 20-year long association with the industry, Sheeraz has earned the goodwill of various domestic and international tourism boards and airlines. As the founder of Sheeraz Tours in Lucknow in 2007, he has helped scale the company to new heights and has become one of the most trusted travel companies in North India. He is also the Director of Tripshapers.com, a B2B online portal company, where he plays an instrumental role in showcasing the Uttar Pradesh region as a potential outbound market from India.  

Nirupa Shankar, Director, Brigade Hospitality, has become the Face of the Future. As an entrepreneur, Shankar has been instrumental in launching five hotels, with 12 more in the pipeline. She has been associated with the company for eight years and has tremendously contributed to its growth. Apart from hospitality, she oversees the office of Public Relations and Innovations for the group. She recently completed a triathlon, half marathon and swimmathon and is also trained as a six sigma Black Belt. Her industry experiences are strongly underscored with education; she is an Economics graduate with a Master’s degree in Hospitality.

Keshav Suri, the Executive Director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group has been felicitated as the Face of the Future for his exemplary contribution in the hospitality industry. While his brainchild ‘Kitty Su’ has been awarded the ‘Best Night Club’ in Delhi for three consecutive years, the enterpriser made Mexican food a rage with through hotel’s outdoor catering vertical – The Lalit Food Truck Company with four foodtrucks and 10 more planned across the country. He is currently spearheading new projects and his group, under his guidance, is making its international debut with their first ever hotel in London on November 19.

Akanksha Garg Dewan, Director, Waxpol Hotel and Resorts, was awarded the Gold Maya at the East India Travel Awards 2016 for the Face of the Future. Dewan has been a pioneer in promoting sustainable tourism and resorts with negligible carbon footprints in Sundarbans and West Bengal. She has also been instrumental in putting Dooars that opened in 2008. She has not only created a niche in the region, but has even taken the brand to Madhya Pradesh.
