According to data provided by STB, India has been ranked the second-largest tourist market for Singapore in 2022 after Indonesia, reporting 686,000 Indian arrivals. Indonesians, Indians and Australians were top spending tourists in the first nine months of 2022 with SGD 8.96 billion.

According to data from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) till November, residents of India make up the second largest group of visitors after Chinese travellers to Singapore with a total of 612,300 visitors up to November 2022.

To provide further updates on the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between Singapore and India & Sri Lanka, Singapore Tourism Board will be organising another round of webinar exclusively for the Indian & Sri Lankan travel trade. The Singapore-India Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) had been launched on November 29th.  STB, SIA and CAG will conduct a second webinar to provide an update to the Indian trade partners on the VTL, SIA flight operations and the passenger experience at Changi Airport and Jewel. More than 200 travel agents pan-India took part in the ‘SingapoReimagine Virtual Experiences Familiarisation Day’ organised by STB on July 27 and 31. Featuring virtual experiences by Singapore Airlines, Singapore Zoo, Monster Tours and a masterclass by Brass Lion Distillery, the full-day event set new standards of how virtual experience engagement can be presented immersively and seamlessly.
