A recent Hilton 2025 trends report reveals that 93 per cent of Generation Alpha and Generation Z in India actively influence family travel decisions, marking them as crucial decision-makers in the travel planning process. With 89 per cent of these young travellers expecting to travel at least once a year, they view travel as a fundamental part of personal growth. The report highlights that sports events, music concerts, and outdoor activities are among the top motivations for travel for this demographic in 2025. Digital connectivity plays a significant role in their travel experiences, with Indian travellers spending up to four hours daily on devices during trips.
