Europamundo Vacaciones held its 2024 Annual Convention from November 1st to 4th in Marrakech, marking a triumphant return to the city after 19 years. The convention brought together nearly 300 representatives from 95 companies across 52 countries and was characterized by its dynamic, innovative, and technologically advanced nature, reaffirming Europamundo’s leadership in the tourism industry.
The event’s agenda featured unique moments such as the Opening Ceremony – Marhaba Night, inspired by Olympic values and imbued with symbolism and warmth. Attendees also enjoyed an enchanting Night at the Palace at the majestic Palais Souleiman, experiencing the elegance and rich history of Marrakech. To close, on Sunday, November 3rd, the Gala Dinner at the Nouba restaurant, organized in collaboration with ONMT, provided an exceptional evening filled with gastronomy and music in a vibrant setting.
The convention featured notable presentations by experts, including Jon Hernández, AI enthusiast; Lucía Iglesias from Microsoft; Miriam Alegría, a specialist in influencer marketing; and Josep Ros from Encora, who shared key insights on cybersecurity in the tourism sector. These sessions highlighted Europamundo’s commitment to innovation and technological adaptation.
The event also benefited from the valuable participation of Khalid Mimi, director of ONMT for Spain, Portugal, and LATAM, who emphasized Morocco’s significance in the company’s travel offerings. Additionally, the presence of Goro Kido, CEO of JTB Europe, strengthened ties with the parent company and underscored the international scope of the convention.

Growth was seen in several markets with Mexico being the top performers for the Latino market. Our Global market too saw growth with India being the best performer and Indian traveller outnumbering the rest.
