According to Euromonitor’s recent survey Voice of the Consumer: Travel Survey, 79% of both Eco-Adventurers and Cultural Explorers are willing to pay up to 10 per cent more for sustainable travel features, with an aim to convince travellers to spend on sustainability options.

According to Allied Market Research report, the global travel credit card industry generated $16.4 billion in 2022 and is anticipated to generate $48.5 billion by 2032, witnessing a CAGR of 11.8% from 2023 to 2032. Rising demand for travel related awards is a key growth factor.

WTM’s global travel report indicates that global tourism continues to rebound strongly despite risks and challenges facing the industry. By the end of 2023, tourism economics predicts that global outbound trips will exceed 1.25 billion, which is over 85% of the peak level achieved in 2019.

India tourism showcases its strength at WTM. A report by WTM London on 6 November, says “affordable luxury” is becoming more popular “amid promising sentiment overall”. It explains that this growth area in travel aligns with a broader trend for consumers to seek out new and unique experiences on holiday.
