In view of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, West Bengal Tourism has issued Tourism Industry Operation Guidelines. It has also formed a special C19 Tourism Taskforce under the Chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Nandini Chakravorty along with a five-member team from the tourism department and the tourism industry.

Informing that accessibility to Khajuraho has been increased, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Culture, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, said, “Madhya Pradesh is developing Khajuraho as a family destination by adding more dimensions like eco-tourism, heritage trails, and rural homestays. Team North East India has reached Moscow to participate in the Indo-Russia Friendship Car Rally, organised by International Friendship Car Rally Association. Mizoram Tourism recently organised a training programme for Prescribed Authorities under the Mizoram Registration of Tourist Trade Act 2020. The Government of Mizoram has designated Sub-Divisional Officers as Prescribed Authorities under their jurisdiction to regulate and supervise the tourism service providers in the state.
