Much-awaited Telangana State Tourism Policy on the anvil after industry push: Valmiki Hari Kishan

Valmiki Hari Kishan, Chairman- Tourism Committee, Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), has said that Telangana State still hasn’t released its tourism policy, which we have been pushing for the past few years. However, he says that news has come that it will be released soon. “I am happy to share that the policy is ready within the Secretary of the Tourism committee and they will be rolling it out very shortly,” he said.

Ebixcash files draft papers for ₹6,000-cr IPO with Sebi, may explore pre-IPO placement of up to ₹1,200 crore

Ebixcash has filed draft papers with Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for ₹6,000 crore IPO. The initial public offering (IPO) comprises of fresh equity issue aggregating up to ₹6,000 crore. Further, the issue includes a reservation of part equity shares for subscription by eligible employees. The employee reservation portion will not exceed 5% of post-issue paid-up equity share capital. Also, the company may explore a pre-IPO placement of up to ₹1,200 crore. If such a placement is completed, the issue size will be reduced.

Tourism in Goa takes another hit as charter flights from Russia stop

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent suspension of Russian airlines’ flights is hitting Goa’s charter season hard. Nilesh Shah, President, Travel & Tourism Association of Goa, says, “Most charter guests spend 14-21 days in Goa. Many hotels that have been suffering for the past 20 months depend on charter business for survival.” At the moment, Goa is receiving only once-a-week charters from Kazakhstan.

Aussie Specialist Agents program participations in India, doubles from 2000 in 2019 to 4100 in 2022
