MS973 will depart Cairo on Fridays & Sundays at 11:40 (Cairo time) and arrive in Delhi at 20:45 (Delhi time); MS975 will depart from Cairo on Thursdays and Saturdays at 23:50 (Cairo time) and arrive in Delhi at 08:55 the next day (Delhi time). Starting today, the Philippines commences their 4-city roadshow beginning in Delhi at The Park hotel, followed by Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata in August 2023. Indin being an important market for Philippines, their aim with hosting these roadshows is to enhance trade relations and strengthen commercial bonds with India. 

Kayak revealed, Varanasi has seen a substantial 102% increase in flight searches despite a 7% rise in flight prices as compared to 2022. The culturally significant, ancient city of Madurai has also witnessed a 97% increase in flight searches even with a 22% price increase compared to last year.

Manoj Sinha, LG, J&K, predicts that the UT has recorded over 1.27 cr tourists this year till date, which is expected to cross last year’s high record by the year end. He also credited the restoration of peace and normalcy for such large tourist numbers in J&K.

The Embassy of Switzerland in India has clarified that it has not suspended Schengen visa appointments for Indian tour groups. “We have almost 800 daily appointments through the end of September 2023. These include 22 groups,” it stated.
