Delhi government unveils ₹25 crore plan to highlight capital’s tourism appeal 

The Delhi government has announced a ₹25 crore tourism boost for 2025–26, combining a ₹5 crore branding campaign with ₹20 crore for infrastructure upgrades. Plans include national and international mart participation, cultural festivals and redevelopments at Dilli Haat and GTB Memorial, aiming to enhance Delhi’s image as a vibrant global destination.

Malaysia Airlines to Malaysia launch daily flights to Trivandrum by Dec

Malaysia Airlines is set to further strengthen its connectivity in South India by increasing frequencies to the city. Beginning 12 September 2025, the airline will introduce a fifth weekly service, with daily operations to commence from 1 December 2025.  Tickets for the new frequencies are now available for booking through all Malaysia Airlines’ official channels and appointed travel partners. Malaysia Airlines currently operates 77 weekly flights across ten key cities in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, and Trivandrum. With the new additions, this number will increase to 80 weekly flights by December 2025.

Tripura to set up 6 eco-parks, looking to boost tourism in state

Animesh Debbarma, Minister, Department of Forest, Tripura said his ministry has chalked out a plan to set up six eco parks to boost tourism in the state. The estimated cost of each eco park to be set up in six districts, except Dhalai and South Tripura, will be ₹10 crore, and the joint forest management group will run the proposed facilities. He said these tourist facilities, to be built on forest land, will provide a livelihood to the local people.
