SS Innovators and Realtors Private Limited, a real estate and road development company based out of Jammu, today announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for a new hotel development inJammu (J&K), under the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham brand.
Lying on the banks of the river Tawi, the city of Jammu is the most strategic city in the state along with Srinagar. Also known as the City of Temples for its ancient temples and Hindu shrines, Jammu is the most visited place in the union territory. The main attraction for the Hindu devotees here includes Raghunath Temple, which has the largest complex in North India: Ranbireshwar Temple, Peer Kho Cave Temple, Mahamaya Temple and the Panchbakhtar Temple. For Sikh devotees, Jammu houses one of the oldest and most popular shrines of Northern India, the Nangli Sahib Gurudwara. Jammu also serves as the base city for pilgrims visiting the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi (Katra) and Amarnath and thus serves as an important transit point.
The city of Jammu is the main hub for business and trade for the administrative division of Jammu. Jammu has an assortment of businesses and trade opportunities. Some of the key industrial sectors comprise of the food grain mills, textile industry, carpet industry, handicraft, and handloom industry. Jammu is well connected to all major cities in India by rail and air through the Jammu Tawi Railway station and Jammu Airport.
The hotel is slated to open by 2024 and is located in Vijaypur on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway NH1A a strategic highway passing through Jammu. Once complete the hotel will have an inventory of 85 keys, choices of food and beverage outlets and the largest meeting and banqueting space in the city.
