ITA Airways continues to offer its new direct flight between Rome Fiumicino and Bangkok through the 2025 summer season. This route will be operational from 16 November, 2024. The new Rome-Bangkok flight is available for purchase through all ITA Airways’ channels also for the summer season, beginning 30 March, 2025. During the winter season 2024/2025, the flight will operate with five weekly frequencies from Rome Fiumicino every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and from Bangkok every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. In the 2025 summer season, flights from Rome Fiumicino will operate with three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, while departures from Bangkok will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

ITA Airways announced that connections between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion and Rome Fiumicino will be resumed starting 5 September, 2024. The airline will initially operate a daily daytime service, with the following schedule: AZ807 Tel Aviv-Rome Fiumicino, departing from Tel Aviv at 2:30 p.m. (local time) and arriving in Rome at 5:15 p.m. (local time). AZ806 Rome Fiumicino-Tel Aviv, departing from Rome at 9:10 a.m. (local time) and arriving in Tel Aviv at 1:30 p.m. (local time). Jazeera Airways, Kuwait leading low cost carrier, recently introduced sustainable food service ware on all flights across its network of 64 destinations. By changing from plastic cutlery to 100% biodegradable spoons, forks, knives and napkins, Jazeera reduces 300 kilograms of plastic on its flights each month. The cutlery manufactured by Dubai based Palmade is made from natural materials including leaves of the date palm trees. All of these materials are certified biodegradable and compostable. Earlier in the year, As part of its sustainable practices, Jazeera has also switched from plastic stirrers to wooden stirrers. The airline is the first low-cost carrier in the Middle East to replace plastic in-flight food service ware with eco-friendly options.
