Sarovar Hotels and Resorts announces new project in Greater Noida West

Sarovar Hotels and Resorts expands its portfolio in the Delhi-NCR region, with the signing of a new project The Gaurs Sarovar Portico Greater Noida West. Owned and developed by Gaursons, the hotel is part of an 18-acre sports club and adjoins a sports stadium, giving it a unique locational advantage. Upon completion in mid-2019, The Gaurs Sarovar Portico will offer its guests 72 rooms with all upscale amenities, a specialty restaurant and bar, and a banquet hall and party lawns with a capacity of over 10,000 people. Further, the project comprises a spa, indoor activity area and access to an international fitness centre. Commenting on the development, Anil Madhok, Executive Chairman, Sarovar Hotels and Resorts, said, “We are extremely happy to extend our presence further into Delhi NCR. Sarovar to open two hotels in Katra, J&K

Adding another pilgrimage destination to its portfolio, Sarovar Hotels has signed two hotels in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir, namely, The Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico and Shri Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico. Both the hotels complement Sarovar’s existing hotel RK Sarovar Portico, Srinagar. Sarovar is already present in the pilgrimage destinations of Badrinath, Amritsar, Haridwar, Vrindavan and Tirupati. Sarovar Hotels & Resorts expands in Mumbai; signs new hotel in Dahisar

Sarovar Hotels announces the signing of a new hotel deal in Dahisar, a 112 suites Royal Hometel Suites. Owned by Lion Pencils, Royal Hometel Suites is expected to open in 2018. With a key location, the hotel under development will offer all facilities of an international standard hotel. Allowing guests a comfortable stay and pleasant experience, Royal Hometel Suites will feature All Day Dining, Bar, Banquet Halls, Conference & Meeting Facilities, Swimming Pool, and Gymnasium. Sarovar sells majority stakes to Louvre Hotels

Sarovar Hotels has sold majority of its stakes to Louvre Hotels, the second largest hotel group in Europe. The acquisition deal was formally announced in New Delhi by Ajay K. Bakaya, Executive Director, Sarovar Hotels, in the presence of Anil Madhok, Executive Chairman, Sarovar Hotels; Pierre-Frederic Roulot, CEO, Louvre Hotels Group and Saurabh Chawla, Head of Group Development, Louvre Hotels Group. According to Bakaya, there will not be any change in the management of Sarovar Hotels after the acquisition and they will continue to run the hotels the way they used to. He added that the new development would only help the company to expand its reach.

Sarovar’s ‘Kalyan Hometel’ opens in Chennai

Sarovar Hotels & Resorts has opened a brand new property ‘Kalyan Hometel’ in Vandalur-Chennai. A contemporary business hotel, with 108 rooms and suites, was formally launched by Anil Madhok, Managing Director, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts. The room rates start at Rs 3,450++.
