Sharing her views on how business travel in India is slated for growth, Catherine Logan, Regional Vice President of EMEA & APAC, Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), said, “India will fully reach pre-2019 spending levels by 2025 and is likely to reach 120 per cent of its pre-COVID business travel spend by 2027.”

Bertrand Saillet, Managing Director, FCM Asia, said, “Asia has continued to show a double-digit recovery for the first quarter of FY24 in corporate travel. India showed a strong performance with continued gains in both market share and profits”.    

Sabre survey of travel agents and TMCs in APAC reveals the changing face of corporate travel. As per the survey, there’s strong optimism in the market, with 82% saying they expect a return to pre-pandemic corporate travel levels, and 15% expecting a boom greater than pre-Covid-19, within the next 12 months.
