Travel agents around the world can therefore offer additional travel options to their clients via their Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Five airlines formed an interline agreement with Hahn Air and are available under their own code in selected GDSs. This includes markets where they do not participate in local settlement systems (BSPs or ARC) or where they do not grant ticketing authority. Travel agents also benefit from being able to choose from additional payment options connected with the HR-169 ticket that the airlines do not offer with their own tickets. In addition, many partners are available for multi-airline ticketing even if they don’t have a contract with each other. Hahn Air added 14 new carriers to its leading network of more than 350 airlines throughout 2022. With Hahn Air’s solutions, the partners can sell their flights in 190 markets, including markets outside of their route network, where they are not available with their own distribution set-up. When the partners sign an interline agreement with Hahn Air, travel agents can book their flights in the GDSs and issue them on the insolvency-safe Hahn Air HR-169 ticket, even in markets where the airlines are not participating in the local payment system (e.g. BSP or ARC). Hahn Air added 39 new carriers to its leading network of over 350 partner airlines over the course of 2019. The flights of all new partners can be issued by travel agencies around the world on the insolvency-safe Hahn Air ticket. 17 of the new partner airlines are using the product HR-169 and have entered into an interline agreement with Hahn Air. With the new additions, the total number of new partners for this year becomes 22. According to a statement by Hahn Air, six of the newly integrated partners are expanding their distribution reach by using the Hahn Air product HR-169 and thereby making their flights available to travel agents on the Hahn Air HR-169 ticket. The following airlines can now be issued under their own two-letter-codes in selected GDSs: Air Greenland (GL), Air North (4N) from Canada, Cyprus Airways (CY), the Chinese carrier Donghai Airlines (DZ), the Russian airline Nordwind Airlines (N4) and MyWay Airlines (ML) from Georgia. In addition, Neos Airlines (NO) from Italy and Lao Skyway (LK) from Laos became new H1-Air partners of Hahn Air’s sister company Hahn Air Systems. Their flights can therefore be booked by 100.000 travel agents in 190 markets in all major GDSs under the designator H1 and be issued on the HR-169 ticket. Beijing Capital Airlines (JD) joins Hahn Air’s network of 300 air, rail and shuttle partners. The Chinese carrier signed an Interline Electronic Ticketing Agreement (IET) with the German scheduled airline and can now sell its flights even in markets where it is not participating in the local BSP. Travel agents worldwide using the Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, Travelsky, Apollo, Abacus, Worldspan, Axess or Infini can issue the services of Beijing Capital Airlines on Hahn Air’s HR-169 ticket under the IATA code JD. Based at Beijing Airport (PEK), Beijing Capital Airlines operates a fleet of 78 Airbus aircraft and flies more than 200 domestic and international routes. Its network spans 73 destinations in ten countries, including Madrid, Moscow, Sydney, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. As part of the HNA Group, Beijing Capital Airlines launched several new long-haul services in 2016, for example Qingdao-Melbourne, Hangzhou-Chengdu-Madrid, and Hangzhou-Qingdao-Vancouver.
