Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi won the ‘Fastest Growing Leisure Destination’ award at the ITA. On behalf of NTO, Nikhil Jeet, Manager, Country (India), DCT Abu Dhabi, said, “With a team of dynamic professionals, we have ensured that Abu Dhabi’s wide range of tourism offerings reaches every travelling Indian.”

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation bagged ‘Excellence in Responsible Tourism Practices’ award at ITA 2024. Manasi Kothare, Officer for Responsible Tourism, MTDC, said, “We have pioneered several projects, including development of carbon footprint calculator, a crucial tool for environmental conservation.”

Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa, Bengaluru secured the ‘Best Wedding and MICE Hotel Karnataka’ award at the India Travel Awards. Shafee Ahmed, GM and KS Sachin, Director, Sales & Marketing accepted the award. The property’s MICE facilities can host events catering from 10 to 1,000 guests.

Aeroprime Group won the ‘Leading Passenger GSA of the year’ award at the India Travel Awards. Upon receiving the award, Nash Dias, Sales Manager, Aeroprime, exclaimed, “The award validates our confidence and pushes us to work harder.” Aeroprime Group is the leading aviation and travel services group based in India.

CA Krishnan R, Director & CEO, Unimoni Financial Services, said that the award meant a lot to the company. He said, “Our dedicated staff includes destination specialists certified by global tourism boards. Our user-friendly travel portal facilitates easy bookings for flights, hotels, and holiday packages.”

Nirav Kapadia, Owner, Get Set Go Travel won the ‘Best Customised Tour Operator’ award at the India Travel Awards 2024. Having completed 4+ years in the travel consultancy market, the company has set a benchmark for others in terms of exceptional work and satisfactory services.

Chef Eabin Mathew, Principal, BGS Institute of Hotel Management, Bengaluru while receiving the ‘Most Promising Hotel Management College’ award at the India Travel Awards 2024, said, “The award will be instrumental in helping us advance our ideas and secure a place in the industry”.

Gauri Chavan, Director, Grape County Eco Resort & Spa, while receiving the ‘Best Wedding & MICE Resort-Maharashtra’ award at the India Travel Awards 2024, said, “It is a testament to our commitment to showcasing Nashik as not only the wine capital but also the wedding capital of India.”

While receiving the ‘Best Travel Brand – South India’ award on the behalf of GT Holidays, Yamini Karthik, Co-Founder, Director, Operations, GT Holidays, said, “India Travel Awards is one of the most prestigious travel awards and today we are honoured to receive this accolade.”
