While receiving the Fastest Growing Travel Company award on the behalf of Fly24hrs, Vaseem Parvez, Vice President, Fly24hrs Holiday, said, “Kudos to the DDP Group for organising this award ceremony, providing a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of individuals.”

Turtle Down Under won the ‘Best ‘Inbound Tour Operator-Australia’ Award at the India Travel Awards. Its National Sales Manager, Kunal Ramchandani, said, “It feels great when our travel partners support us. We will continue to strive for excellence and provide our travel agents with the best possible services.”

Jatinder Paul Singh, Co-Founder & Global CEO, Viacation Tourism, won the ‘Emerging Leader Travel Startup’ Award at the India Travel Awards. Beeming with pride, he said, “The tourism industry is currently rebuilding in the post-COVID era, and has adapted to the new realities, embracing technology aligning with consumer needs, and creating innovative segments.”

Neil Patil, Founder & Director, Veena World, bagged the ‘Face of the Future’ Award at the India Travel Awards for being a multi-talented podcast host, inspiring a new generation of explorers! “Travel industry is still at a nascent stage in India and there is a lot to explore and a lot more to achieve for companies such as ours and the new entrants in this field,” he said at the awards.

Rajiv Kapoor, GM, Fairmont Mumbai, won the Dynamic Leadership in Brand Expansion award at the India Travel Awards. “We are thrilled to be recognised for our efforts. This esteemed recognition motivates us to strive for even greater achievements,” he said after receiving the award.

Pradeep Shetty, President, HRAWI & FHRAI won the DDP Trailblazer award at the India Travel Awards. Upon receiving the award, he said, “Awards like these play a vital role in boosting the morale of the younger generation and inspiring them to consider careers in hospitality. This recognises the efforts made by the hospitality industry at large, by the owners and associations, all of whom are behind me and supporting me. It also inspires us to do much more.”

India Travel Awards 2024 will be held tomorrow at the Sofitel Mumbai BKC. The crème de la crème of the travel and hospitality industry will be present to witness the prestigious ceremony.  The event, honouring the achievers from the industry will be held for the first time in Mumbai.

The 7th edition of India Travel Awards will be held on 25 July at the Hyatt Regency New Delhi. The awards commemorate industry players under various categories of travel, tourism and hospitality industry. The awardees will take home the golden trophy ‘Maya’.

PS Duggal, Executive Director, Minar Travels, has been conferred the Gallery of Legends trophy at India Travel Awards 2018. Having started as a banking professional at ANZ Bank, he joined the company in 1992 and has since been part of the growth story. With 26 years of experience in the industry, Duggal now looks after the entire administration and accounts of the company whilst coordinating with all its offices across countries. Today, Minar Travels is a market leader in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, and has an international presence in 32 countries, with inroads in the Latin and North American markets as well as Europe and Asia. The company is of the biggest aviation services and destination management companies in the country with 16 offices in India and nine overseas. It is also the GSA for eight airlines. The luxury division became a traveller-made DMC in 2018. That’s not all, the company’s MiCE division is also a huge success.  

The fifth edition of India Travel Awards concluded at Hotel Clarks Shiraz Agra amidst the presence of the stalwarts of the travel and tourism industry. The chief guest for the evening was Satyajeet Rajan, Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, who not only felicitated the winners, but also congratulated them for their contribution to the industry. The award was given in a total of 74 categories, celebrating the achievements of travel professionals in travel and MiCE industries across the country. India Travel Awards celebrates the winners and achievers of the travel industry by honouring them at a glittering ceremony.
