Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced the signing of a resort in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. This greenfield project will be under the Gateway brand. Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “Prayagraj, with its deep-rooted cultural and religious importance, has been a prominent destination for pilgrims and leisure tourists alike. This signing aligns with our strategy of penetrating emerging markets in Tier II and III cities. We are delighted to partner with Ecavo Hospitality Limited for this project.” True to its ethos, the 150-key Gateway Prayagraj seamlessly blends contemporary aesthetics with local architectural influences. Guests can choose from an array of culinary options like an all-day-diner, a bar, a specialty restaurant, and a lounge. It will feature a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool and spa. Spanning over 5000 sq. ft. the resort’s banqueting space makes it the ideal choice for social and corporate events. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 22 hotels in Tamil Nadu including 6 under development.  Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced the signing of an IHCL SeleQtions hotel, in ECR Chennai. The hotel is part of a large eco-friendly development spread over 30 acres. Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “We are thrilled to introduce our first SeleQtions hotel in Chennai where IHCL has a multi-brand presence of 14 hotels including iconic luxury hotels and residences, leisure resorts and business hotels spread across central business districts and emerging micro markets. Strategically located on ECR, its eco-friendly design and MICE facilities, will cater to the growing travel demand in the area. We are delighted to partner with GT Bharathi Urban developers for this project.” Located on the picturesque ECR, the 120-key hotel is part of 32-acre green township, close to the city’s attractions. The hotel will feature a variety of dining options, including an all-day diner, a specialty restaurant, a bar and a lounge. Guests can unwind at the state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, and spa. Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced the signing of a resort in Barnala in Punjab, under the Gateway brand. Speaking on the occasion Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “This signing is in line with our strategy of growing IHCL’s presence in tier 2 and 3 cities in India. Barnala, a commercial and industrial centre bordering Ludhiana is an emerging market in Punjab.  Gateway, the latest addition to IHCL’s brand portfolio will showcase this vibrant city. We are delighted to partner with Lakhvir Singh for this project.” Spread across 9 acres, Gateway Barnala will be a haven of tranquillity. The resort will feature a unique low-rise design with 100 spacious villas and rooms. It will offer an all-day-diner, specialty restaurant, bar, gymnasium and health centre. The 7,000 sq. ft banquet hall coupled with meeting rooms will be ideal for corporate and social gatherings.
