Uganda Airlines forays into Indian skies with three weekly Mumbai-Entebbe flights from Oct 7: Olawuyi

Adedayo Olawuyi, CCO, Uganda Airlines, announced that the airline is all set to revive the Mumbai-Entebbe route from october 7, 2023 after 40 years. This route was earlier serviced by Air India. Uganda Airlines will start a three weekly direct flight between the two cities targeting VFR traffic, business travellers and medical tourists, but also mice and leisure tourists.

India should focus on attracting medical tourists from Europe & America: Parliamentary Committee

The Parliamentary Committee has advised the MOT that there is a huge potential for India to realize and aggressively advance towards attracting medical tourists from other parts of the world, including Europe and America. “India receives most of its medical tourists from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Oman, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nigeria, Kenya and Iraq,” it said in its report.
