The Ministry of Tourism has invited entries for the National Tourism Awards 2018-19. The last date for receipt of entries in the respective divisions in August 10, 2021, 16:00 Hrs. The India Tourism Mart (ITM), organised by the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH) and the Ministry of Tourism (MOT), will be tentatively held from September 29 to October 1, 2019, announced Subhash Goyal, Secretary General, FAITH. He also told that these dates are tentative, considering that any other inbound travel show like KTM as well as the National Tourism Awards would not clash with the same. This year, ITM had around 250 foreign buyers in attendance with an equal number of exhibitors. He also revealed that they are expecting around 500 buyers to come for the next year’s edition as they will have enough time to plan the event unlike this time, when they organised it within 2.5 months.

The annual National Tourism Awards of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will be held at the Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on July 30, 2016. Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Sumitra Mahajan will be the Chief Guest and she will be giving away the awards for the year 2014-15. The National Tourism Awards are held annually to honour various segments of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. These awards are presented to State Governments/Union Territories, hotels, heritage hotels, travel agents, tour operators and tourist transport operators, niche tourism facilities, individuals and other private organisations in recognition of their performance in their respective fields and also to encourage healthy competition with an aim to promote tourism.
