Travstarz Global Group opens Mumbai office

Travstarz Global Group has recently opened its Mumbai Regional Office. Speaking on the development, Pankaj Nagpal, Managing Director, Travstarz Global Group, added, “We already had presence in Mumbai with our sales team, but we have now opened our full-fledged office with our Sales and Operations teams to be based in Mumbai to look after the entire West India region catering to Gujarat, Maharashtra and even MP. CTRIP’s Tours4fun acquires stake in Travstarz Global Group

India Travel Award winners Pankaj Nagpal and Sucheta Nagpal, the founders of Travstarz, have announced that Tours4fun, a booking portal for global tours and activities and subsidiary of CTRIP, has ventured into India by acquiring a stake in Travstarz Global Group. The company will continue to be led by them as the Managing Director and Director & CEO respectively. Tours4fun has ventured into global travel B2B business with the launch of RezB2B Global Limited and its platform Rezb2b.com. The details of the deal were not disclosed by both parties. Post the investment, Travstarz Global Group will merge its platform Travelrezonline.com with Rezb2b.com and will dedicatedly run the group’s B2B business in Indian Sub-Continent and other adjoining regions. “With this alliance, we will expand much faster and will get access to latest technology, wide range of products and global markets. Pankaj Nagpal steps down from ETAA post

Pankaj Nagpal – Managing Director, Travstarz Global Group has resigned from his position as the Enterprising Travel Agents Association National Director & Chapter Chairman – North India, after being an Office Bearer for ETAA for over five years. Commenting on the move, he said, “I have served ETAA to the best of my ability during my tenure and have established ETAA in North India Region which had only 13 members when I took over and today stands at over 150 Members. I thank my last Committee for all their contribution and all the Members for their support. My pre-occupation with the business is one of the reasons that I decided to quit ETAA and I am sure the board will find a capable replacement to take ETAA forward and I wish them all the very best for the future specially after the successful 2nd Domestic Convention held recently at Hyderabad.” He had announced the dissolution of the existing North India Committee during the last member’s meet held at Ashoka Hotel in November 2016, and was in the process of forming the new committee but decided to resign himself as well.

Outbound to Europe will be hit

As Brussels is the headquarters of many airlines and international forums, the impact will be seen on the numbers travelling to Europe. However this may actually increase the inbound traffic of tourists to other regions like South East Asia. India will not be particularly affected as Jet Airways has decided to shift out its base from Brussels so apart from the damage to aircrafts, the numbers will not be affected from India.”
