Sarovar Hotels and Resorts has signed a new hotel in Birgunj, Nepal. Upon completion in 2022, the 50-room property – Sarovar Portico, Birgunj – will offer an elegant ambience and amenities to guests. The signing helps Sarovar, which already manages a diverse portfolio in India and Africa, further expand its footprint in Nepal.

Sarovar Hotels and Resorts today have expanded their portfolio in Maharashtra and have signed a hotel in Aurangabad. Sarovar Portico upon completion will offer 68 well- appointed rooms and suites offering modern amenities and personalised service. The hotel aims to promote business and tourism in the area and offer high-quality service and stay options. The hotel is strategically located in Shendra MIDC and is close to the airport. Expanding its portfolio in Gujarat to seven hotels, Sarovar Hotels has announced the opening of its latest project in the temple town, Somnath. Sarovar Portico, Somnath is spread in beautiful landscaped terrain and has aesthetically designed Presidential and Royal suites, Studio rooms, superior rooms and executive rooms. Culinary highlights at the hotel include ‘Flavours’ that offers a multi-cuisine menu served with flair. Sarovar Hotels has announced the signing of a new hotel in South Goa, marking the group’s further foray into the state. Sarovar Portico in Palolem will offer guests a perfect stay experience upon completion in mid-2019. In addition to well-appointed 48 rooms, the hotel will offer all-day dinning, bar, spa, gymnasium and swimming pool. The hotel will also feature meeting rooms for up to 300 guests to meet the rapidly growing demand of MiCE segment.
