To tap the tea tourism potential of the state, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, said that the state government is moving forward with plans to study the tea tourism model of West Bengal and frame a policy — which the stakeholders see as having a great potential to revitalise the tea industry.

Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, CM, HP,  said the government is considering framing a new tourism policy to increase the number of tourists by promoting lesser-known destinations. The government aims to footfall from three to five crore in the next five years.
