Travstarz Global Group hosts networking evening & training for Amritsar agent partner

Travstarz Global Group, a Trip.com invested company hosted a networking evening and training for its travel agent partners at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Amritsar on 25th November, 2024. The extremely successful event saw a packed crowd with over 45 agent partners joining in for the evening from Amritsar and even Jallandhar. Pankaj Nagpal, Managing Director, Travstarz Global Group added, “Over the last one year this is our 3rd event at Amritsar besides Chandigarh and Ludhiana covering all major Punjab cities and we have received an overwhelming response each time at our events. Govt needs to understand India’s tourism potential, country should receive 100 million passengers every year: Pankaj Nagpal

Ahead of the Union Budget, Pankaj Nagpal, MD, Travstarz Global Group said, “It’s disappointing to see small countries like Singapore attracting13 million passengers whereas India which has so much to offer in terms of tourism is attracting 9 million passengers arrivals every year. GoI needs to understand the kind of scope and tourism potential India has, it should be getting over 100 million passengers every year.”

Travstarz Global Group concludes its multi-city roadshows, connecting with travel agents across India.

Travstarz Global Group, A Trip.com Invested Company concluded its Multicity Road Shows with its last show in Indore last month. The shows started with Travstarz Egypt DMC Showcase in Delhi which was presented by Mr. Ali ElSamman, Director – Operations, Travstarz Egypt DMC who was in India. It was followed up by Travstarz Networking Events in Amritsar, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ludhiana and finally concluding at Indore over the last few months of 2024. The well attended events saw over 40 to 50 agents in each city even for Lunch Events on working days. Travstarz Global Group has announced their entry into cruises by partnering with Genting Cruise Lines as their new Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) for both Dream Cruises and Star Cruises. Travstarz Global Group opens Mumbai office

Travstarz Global Group has recently opened its Mumbai Regional Office. Speaking on the development, Pankaj Nagpal, Managing Director, Travstarz Global Group, added, “We already had presence in Mumbai with our sales team, but we have now opened our full-fledged office with our Sales and Operations teams to be based in Mumbai to look after the entire West India region catering to Gujarat, Maharashtra and even MP. The team will be led by Hema Manghnani, Executive Director of the company based in Mumbai. The team size will be around 15 for the time being in addition to the sales teams at various locations”. CTRIP’s Tours4fun acquires stake in Travstarz Global Group

India Travel Award winners Pankaj Nagpal and Sucheta Nagpal, the founders of Travstarz, have announced that Tours4fun, a booking portal for global tours and activities and subsidiary of CTRIP, has ventured into India by acquiring a stake in Travstarz Global Group. The company will continue to be led by them as the Managing Director and Director & CEO respectively. Tours4fun has ventured into global travel B2B business with the launch of RezB2B Global Limited and its platform Rezb2b.com. The details of the deal were not disclosed by both parties. Post the investment, Travstarz Global Group will merge its platform Travelrezonline.com with Rezb2b.com and will dedicatedly run the group’s B2B business in Indian Sub-Continent and other adjoining regions. “With this alliance, we will expand much faster and will get access to latest technology, wide range of products and global markets. We shall be merging our online platform travelrezonline.com into Rezb2b.com and all further developments will be jointly done by our India and Global IT Teams to offer an advanced and robust online B2B system with best worldwide inventory of flights, hotels, packages, transfers and sight seeing, visas, travel insurance and forex. Outbound to Europe will be hit

Pankaj Nagpal, Managing Director, Travstarz Global Group, says, “The blasts in Brussels will definitely impact the outbound tourism sector to Europe. As Brussels is the headquarters of many airlines and international forums, the impact will be seen on the numbers travelling to Europe. However this may actually increase the inbound traffic of tourists to other regions like South East Asia. India will not be particularly affected as Jet Airways has decided to shift out its base from Brussels so apart from the damage to aircrafts, the numbers will not be affected from India.”
