SRM University Institute of Hotel Management (SRM IHM), a renowned institution in North India today declare a strategic collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hotel industry. The four-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the institutions will cover the areas relating to Academia Industry Partnership, including the representation of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts on the Board of Studies Committee of SRM IHM as well as internship and placement opportunities for students at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties across the region. As part of the Academia Industry Partnership, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will assist SRM IHM in delivering sessions on professional excellence by participating in regular guest lectures and workshops moderated by corporate employees and hotel GMs. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will also facilitate tailored internship and placement opportunities at their hotels in the area, providing SRM IHM students vital hands-on experience in order to prepare them for the hospitality industry upon graduation. The Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Goa has been signed by R.K.M Enterprises, a Delhi-based partnership company, in accordance with a franchise deal with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Located in a prime area of Arpora – North Goa, Ramada by Wyndham Goa Arpora, is expected to open in 2024 and will feature 65 rooms, a lobby lounge, an all-day restaurant and bar, a wellness area, an outdoor swimming pool, as well as an event space and business Centre. The hotel will provide convenient access  to the popular Baga and Calangute beaches, as well as several transport links like the Vasco railway station, Goa International and Mopa International airports. Currently, the Ramada by Wyndham Mussoorie Mall Road is owned by RKM Enterprises. Ramada by Wyndham Goa Arpora will be their second hotel with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in India. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed Ramada Encore by Wyndham in Indore. Nikhil Sharma, Regional Director Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA said: “This upcoming opening adds to our existing portfolio of Wyndham-branded hotels in Madhya Pradesh and reaffirms our commitment to continued growth in this important market. We look forward to our partnership and to adding an internationally-recognised hotel brand to the city of Indore.” The new property, scheduled to open in 2022, will have a modern design and will feature 100 contemporary rooms, a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, meetings and event spaces, a business centre, refreshing wellness areas and an outdoor rooftop swimming pool. Once operational, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Indore will provide more than 100 jobs to the Indore city.
