Brigade Hotel Ventures signed a multi-deal agreement with Marriott International to develop six properties (940 rooms) across four key markets in India. This significant portfolio expansion will have Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center, Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport, Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia, The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island, Kerala, JW Marriott Chennai OMR, and the Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center.

Akasa Air is launching daily direct flights from Mumbai to Phuket, Thailand, from 20 September, marking its entry into Southeast Asia. This new route will be the airline’s sixth international destination, expanding its network to 29 cities. The flights will operate daily between Mumbai and Phuket.

As part of its continued expansion in North India, the Royal Orchid Hotels has signed a new 43-key Regenta Place in Himachal Pradesh’s Baddi. The move aligns with the group’s strategy to tap into high-potential, underserved destinations and cater to the increasing demand for premium hospitality experiences beyond metro cities.
