Far East Hospitality appoints India Sales Associates as RSO for Indian subcontinent

India Sales Associates has been appointed by Singapore-based Far East Hospitality & Management (FEHMS) as their Regional Sales Office (RSO) for the Indian subcontinent market. “Far East Hospitality Group (FEHMS) is a premier owner and operator of hotels and serviced residences.” It has a combined portfolio of close to 14,000 rooms under management across 90 hotels and serviced residences in seven countries. Far East Hospitality’s stable of 10 unique and complementary brands present excellent opportunities for cross-selling initiatives across different brands and geographic markets, offering guests with a greater diversity of choices and locations. In Singapore, the holding company’s hospitality management arm, Far East Hospitality Management, operates a portfolio comprising 22 hotels and serviced residences. Toga Far East Hotels, its joint venture in Australia, is a leading hotel operator across Australia, New Zealand and Europe managing nearly 70 strategically located hotels within this portfolio.

India Sales Associates showcases products in Delhi

India Sales Associates, which has been representing Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts for many years in India, organised a showcase for the travel trade at The Park, New Delhi, for all the brands they are representing now, including Far East Hospitality Group; Panacea Koh Samui; Oasia Suites, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Nusa Dua Hotel & Spa, Bali. Representatives from two properties of Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts—Banyan Tree Seychelles and Banyan Tree Ungasan were also present at the showcase. Manas Sinha, Director, India Sales Associates, shared that they organised the event because their partners do get business from India, but not enough in terms of the potential that India has. “Our partners want to do some product knowledge with our travel partners. Hence, we have organised a closed door, by-invitation-only B2B product training as well as networking sessions. Our partners are looking to expand their base to our network as a GSA in India and further increase their market share from India,” said Sinha at the event.
