Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Sultanate of Oman hosted 3-city sales mission

The Sultanate of Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism organized a successful three-city sales mission in November, demonstrating its dedication to promoting travel and fortifying relationships. The Sales Mission, hosted by Oman Tourism, unfolded across the cities of Chandigarh, Bengaluru, and Chennai.

Commencing with an engaging event in Chandigarh on 30 October, followed by the mission in Bengaluru on 7 November, and culminating in the culturally rich Chennai on 9 November, the mission aimed at establishing Oman as a premier leisure destination among trade partners.

Through this sales tour, Oman Tourism was able to strengthen ties with more than 25 top trade partners at each site over targeted lunch events, promoting networking and cooperation. The enlightening destination presentation made by Mr. Arjun Chadha, Oman Country Manager, was one of the highlights of these events.

The objective of the Sales Mission was to raise awareness about Oman within the trade community, inspiring them to promote the Sultanate of Oman as a leisure destination to their clientele. As the trade partners immersed themselves in the diverse cultural, heritage, and adventure offerings showcased during the presentation, their eagerness to advocate for this picturesque destination among their clients became palpable. The response received from the trade partners was overwhelming. This enthusiastic engagement is poised to translate into a significant boost in the number of visitors from India, reflecting the growing interest in Oman as a travel destination.

Oman Tourism remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships, driving tourism, and showcasing the unparalleled experiences awaiting travellers in the Sultanate of Oman.
