Jazeera Airways lands impressive KD 10.2 million profit in 2024

66.2% increase over 2023 driven by strong passenger growth Passenger numbers surpass 4.9 million, load factor at 78.4% Jazeera Airways announced impressive financial results for 2024, reporting a net profit of KD 10.2 million, a significant 66.2 per cent increase compared to the previous year. The airline’s operating revenue rose by 5.3 per cent to KD 208.6 million, while EBIT surged by 46.8 per cent to KD 17.3 million. Passenger numbers continued their upward trend, demonstrating the most active year on record – exceeding 4.9 million—an increase of 5.1 per cent from 2023, supported by a strong summer travel demand. The airline also achieved a load factor of 78.4 per cent, reflecting high seat occupancy. In Q4 2024, group operating revenue climbed 15 per cent to KD 45.1 million, with quarterly losses reduced by 41.1 per cent to KD 4.2 million, compared to KD 7.14 million in Q4 2023. This was mainly driven by improved revenues and measures implemented to increase operating efficiency. Jazeera Airways Board of Directors recommended a dividend distribution of 40 fils per share. Saudia concludes 2024 with expanded global operations continuing to connect the world to the Kingdom

Achieving a 16% increase in international traffic and an 18% growth in transit guests Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has concluded 2024 with remarkable growth in its international operations, as highlighted in its latest performance report. The airline transported 20 million international guests on scheduled and additional flights, representing a 16 per cent increase compared to 2023. Transit guest numbers also surpassed 9.3 million, an impressive annual growth of 18 per cent. These milestones underscore Saudia’s unwavering commitment to connecting the world to the Kingdom while contributing to Saudi Vision 2030’s goals in tourism, entertainment, sports, and Hajj and Umrah. In total, Saudia carried 35 million guests throughout 2024, reflecting a 15 per cent year-on-year increase. The airline operated 193,000 scheduled and additional flights, a 10 per cent growth compared to the previous year. Additionally, Saudia achieved an 8.5 per cent increase in flight hours, totalling over 581,000 hours, while maintaining an on-time performance rate of 89.1 per cent, a 2.7 per cent improvement. Guest satisfaction also saw a notable rise, with the Net Promoter Score (NPS) reaching 32.7, a 4.5 per cent increase, indicating enhanced satisfaction and an improved likelihood of recommending Saudia to others.
