G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER, said that showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Vijayanagar Empire, Ministry of Railways is redeveloping Karnataka’s Hosapete Junction Railway Station on the theme of Hampi.

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, along with Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Sarbanand Sonwal met Yogi Adityanath, CM, Uttar Pradesh to deliberate on how respective ministries can synergise on development of roads, railways, tourism, culture and shipping.

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister, Tourism, Culture & DoNER held a review meeting with officials of Ministry of Tourism, ASI, Ministry of Culture, Institute of Hotel Management and Cochin Port Trust in Kochi, Kerala . He also reviewed various projects of Ministry of Tourism and Culture including the commemoration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, flagged off the first Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train operating on the Ramayana Circuit. Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that MOT, in association with IRCTC and Ministry of Railways has also proposed Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains for Krishna Circuit, Buddhist Circuit and many other circuits.

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture will be leading the International Day of Yoga (IDY) Celebrations at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad in Hyderabad. The Chief Guest will be Vice President of India, M Vankaiah Naidu. The State Tourism Ministers, Shripad Yesso Naik and Ajay Bhatt, will be leading the celebrations at Churches and Convent of Goa and Wagah Border, Amritsar, respectively.

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER, along with State Tourism Ministers Ajay Bhatt and Shripad Yesso Naik, held a meeting to review various upcoming & ongoing projects of Ministry of Tourism, New Delhi. Senior officials of the ministry were present.

Speaking at the International Cruise Conference 2022 in Mumbai, G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister, Tourism, said, “Our aim is to promote domestic and international cruise terminals at selected ports by 2023. Since many Indians visit foreign destinations for cruises we are making efforts to promote it within India”.

G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Culture Minister, will launch the summit. It will focus on best practises and strategies to develop India’s museums. The Global Summit will bring together prominent figures, domain experts, and practitioners from India and around the world to explore best practises and strategies in the field of museum development and management. The Summit is being held in collaboration with Bloomberg.

Speaking about budget Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed gratitude to PM and FM for the Atmanirbhar Bharat Ka Budget and said, “As India celebrates 75 years of independence with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, we are entering Amrit Kaal and this budget presents a blueprint for India at 100. Vikas (Development) and Virasat (Heritage) go hand-in-hand and this is evident from the fact that this year’s budgetary allocations for Tourism and Culture Ministries have been significantly higher.” 

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER, on the occasion of National Tourism Day, launched a digital booklet on 75 incredible sites to visit in India and Incredible India 2022 digital calendar by the Ministry of Tourism dedicated to tourism sites. The National Tourism Day celebration happened virtually this year owing to Omicron scare and subsequent restrictions.
