Reddy proposes Bharat Gaurav Tourist trains for Krishna & Buddhist Circuit

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, flagged off the first Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train operating on the Ramayana Circuit. Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that MOT, in association with IRCTC and Ministry of Railways has also proposed Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains for Krishna Circuit, Buddhist Circuit and many other circuits.

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture will be leading the International Day of Yoga (IDY) Celebrations at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad in Hyderabad. The Chief Guest will be Vice President of India, M Vankaiah Naidu. The State Tourism Ministers, Shripad Yesso Naik and Ajay Bhatt, will be leading the celebrations at Churches and Convent of Goa and Wagah Border, Amritsar, respectively.

Ministry of Culture, Government of India will organize a first of its kind, 2-Day Global Summit on ‘Re-imagining Museums in India’, on 15-16 February 2022

G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Culture Minister, will launch the summit. It will focus on best practises and strategies to develop India’s museums. The Global Summit will bring together prominent figures, domain experts, and practitioners from India and around the world to explore best practises and strategies in the field of museum development and management. Speaking about budget Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed gratitude to PM and FM for the Atmanirbhar Bharat Ka Budget and said, “As India celebrates 75 years of independence with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, we are entering Amrit Kaal and this budget presents a blueprint for India at 100. Vikas (Development) and Virasat (Heritage) go hand-in-hand and this is evident from the fact that this year’s budgetary allocations for Tourism and Culture Ministries have been significantly higher.”

G Kishan Reddy unveils book of 75 Indian monuments and digital calendar on national tourism day  

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and DoNER, on the occasion of National Tourism Day, launched a digital booklet on 75 incredible sites to visit in India and Incredible India 2022 digital calendar by the Ministry of Tourism dedicated to tourism sites. The National Tourism Day celebration happened virtually this year owing to Omicron scare and subsequent restrictions.
